“Making it Happen” came to life on Thursday, October 16th at the National Women’s Enterprise Day: Midlands Event, hosted by LEO Offaly in the stunning 300-year-old Gloster House. Over 130 female entrepreneurs from Offaly, Laois, Longford, and Westmeath gathered for a day of inspiration, connection, and momentum.
Orla Martin, Head of Enterprise in LEO Offaly welcomed attendees and encouraged everyone to connect and network. Guest speakers Gretchen Donovan, Dr. Anne Cusack, and Rebecca Lyons shared powerful insights, joined by Anne Marie Delaney, Chief Executive of Offaly County Council, and Mary Alexander of Gloster House. A lively panel discussion and Q&A sparked meaningful conversations that continued over a networking lunch.
LEOs across the Midlands remain committed to supporting women in business to “Set the Vision first and then work out the How.”
Special thanks to soprano Yvonne O’Toole, Paula Nolan Photography, Wild Plates Catering, Jane Walsh of Creative Solutions, and the organising sub-committee: Edel Boyd and Lisa Molloy (LEO Offaly), Linda Meredith (LEO Laois), Catriona Duffy (LEO Westmeath), and Nicola Kenneally (LEO Longford).
