4 Week Small Business Accounting Course

The aim of the course is to give participants confidence in working with their business books and records and the knowledge to keep proper books of account and to deal with all necessary Revenue obligations.  All course content has been carefully chosen to support any product or service-led business.

Class sizes are limited to 12 people to maximise learning outcomes for participants.

This course runs from 6.30pm - 9.30pm on four consecutive Thursday evenings, 28th August 2025 to 18th September 2025.

This course will be delivered online via Zoom.

 

AGENDA: 4 Week Small Business Accounting Course

Session 1

Thursday 28th August

  • Understand the Basics of Accounting: Grasp fundamental accounting principles and terminology.

Session 2

Thursday 4th September

  • Manage all Taxes: Understand their tax obligations and learn how to comply with tax regulations by keeping accurate books and records

  •  Record Financial Transactions: Learn how to record transactions accurately, efficiently and in compliance with the revenue’s requirements

Session 3

Thursday 11th September

  • Prepare Financial Statements: Create clear and concise financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Analyse Financial Performance: Utilize financial statements to assess your business's financial health and identify areas for improvement.

Session 4

Thursday 18th September

  • Utilise Accounting Software: Learn to use accounting software to streamline your bookkeeping processes and improve efficiency.
