Festive Networking and Awards Night 2024 featuring talk "The Twelve Days of Christmas: A Gift to Yourself"

The network has never been so vibrant with membership surpassing 250 and great attendances across our events all year, from monthly in person networking. events, to regular Ask the Expert Coffee Zooms and five Accountability Groups that meet on a monthly basis.  This night will be a great opportunity for you to celebrate your hard work and success this year with your fellow members.

The night will start with a mulled wine and mince pie reception and a welcome to the Mansion House by Deputy Lord Mayor, Councillor Donna Cooney

The night will continue with the presentation by Greg Swift, Head of Enterprise with Dublin City Council, of the Annual Awards (Female Entrepreneur of the Year and Rising Star) where we recognise the achievements of two outstanding members in 2024.

This will be followed by a talk by Eibhlin Jonnston on The Twelve Days of Christmas: A Gift to Yourself:

The Gift of Rest – Embracing rest as an essential part of success and well-being.

Looking Ahead – Creating a vision for the future that inspires and motivates you.

Join us for this inspiring and practical talk, where we’ll unwrap these "gifts" together, leaving you energised, focused, and ready to take on whatever comes your way.

The night will end with networking over finger food and wine.

Speaker Profile: Eibhlin Johnston, The Resiliency Hub

Eibhlin is a seasoned Senior Consultant with over 29 years of experience in blue-chip organisations across various business sectors. In 2019, she founded The Resiliency Hub, a platform dedicated to providing coaching and training services at multiple levels and for diverse businesses. Eibhlin boasts an impressive 16-year track record in coaching, working with a wide-ranging clientele.  Eibhlin is also a qualified Breathwork coach and combines her Coaching and Breathwork experience to see dramatic changes in her clients.

Eibhlin's expertise spans a spectrum of training topics, including communication, resilience, leadership, executive presence, and strategic change initiatives. She held a pivotal role as the lead of the Women's Network at JP Morgan and was honoured as a senior mentor within the bank. Eibhlin's commitment to personal development led her to become a qualified iHeart facilitator, trainer, and coach, where she contributes to enhancing resiliency in young people and their parents. In September 2019, she published her book, "Gut Throat Leadership," a profound exploration of leadership philosophies and strategies. Eibhlin's accreditation in Wellbeing and Resilience at Work (WRAW) - Psychometric Testing further underscores her dedication to fostering well-being.  She is also accredited in DiSC.

Other career highlights:

  • Former member of the Steering Group for Irish Funds, the representative body for the Asset Management Industry in Ireland
  • Executive coach since 2006, with a focus on coaching engineers involved in the STEMS project in the mid-2000s
  • A frequent keynote speaker and MC at events, as well as an IHEART trainer and coach for young people
  • Vast experience in establishing Investment Management Groups in Grant Thornton, EY, and McCann FitzGerald

Councillor Donna Cooney Deputy Lord Mayor of Dublin

Elected as Deputy Lord Mayor in June 2024, Councillor Donna Cooney is in her third term as a Dublin City Councillor. She is a mother of 4 and lives in Clontarf and is a year round sea swimmer & active cyclist.

In the last term of Dublin City Council she served as a member of DCC Strategic Policy Committees (SPC) on Housing and on Economic Development.

In the current term of Dublin City Council, she is a member of the Community, Gaeilge, Sports, Arts & Culture SPC. She serves as a board member of the Hugh Lane Gallery, Dublin City Education & Training Board (DCETB), Commissioner of Irish Lights and Marino College.

She is a professional Artist with practice in collaborative arts to achieve positive community engagement in issues of climate change and social justice. She is also a social entrepreneur and has a level 9 post graduate qualification in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from UCD.
