We are delighted to announce that moneysherpa, founded by Mark Coan, has won the Innovation Award at the National Enterprise Awards 2025.

The award was presented last night (22nd May) at the gala ceremony in The Round Room, Mansion House, Dublin.

Since it was established in 2021, moneysherpa has stood out with its innovative business-to-consumer model that streamlined the home buying process by integrating mortgage, survey, and legal services with dedicated case managers. Now employing 10 people, the company continues to grow and impress.

Its latest achievement is the development of a pioneering business-to-business software platform for Mortgage Brokers and Estate Agents, enabling them to scale moneysherpa’s efficient, customer-first approach. The judging panel commented: “moneysherpa is a really impressive business that clearly understands problems in the marketplace and has developed a scalable, innovative solution for both consumers and service providers. Their plans for international growth are both ambitious and achievable.”

Sarah Mallon, National Enterprise Co-ordinator at LEO Louth, said: “We are thrilled that moneysherpa’s innovation has been recognised. Their journey from a consumer solution to impactful business-to-business technology embodies the spirit we champion.”

David Conway, Chief Executive of Louth County Council, added: “I would like to offer my congratulations to Mark and his team in moneysherpa. They have shown remarkable vision and dedication, and this award reflects both their hard work and the support from our Local Enterprise Office.”

moneysherpa has ambitious plans for the future, aiming to become Ireland's largest B2C home buying service by 2030, alongside significant expansion across Ireland, the UK, and Europe with their innovative B2B software.
