Expansion of Trading Online Voucher (TOV) Scheme and reduction in Microfinance Ireland (MFI) interest rate announced

The new Business Continuity Voucher is now available through Local Enterprise Offices and is open to sole traders and companies across every business sector that employ up to 50 people, the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys T.D. has announced yesterday.
Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys, T.D., has strongly encouraged employers to avail of the Government’s new and generous Wage Subsidy Scheme to retain employees and to re-employ employees in cases where they have recently been laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment is a payment of €350 per week. It is available to all employees and the self-employed who have lost their job due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. The Covid-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment will be in place for the duration of the crisis.
